stay warm this winter! hoping to see you this summer! xoxo
What a wonderful thing for them to do! That’s a nice song too. π
That is really heartwarming and remarkable!
Maggie, I have to be honest, when I started watching the video, I wanted to laugh out loud. I was sure it was a spoof, but I didn’t want to say anything stupid without knowing for sure. So I had to do some googling. I like that there is seriousness behind the group of people who put this together. “Fundraising should not be based on exploiting stereotypes.” It was a good few minutes of research. Thanks for broadening my horizons today! π
Well, it’s a joke (I laughed) and it’s not… The world has sadly been raised to see only one side of Africa, when in actuality there are many sides. As in all countries… I’m glad you got it, not everyone will π
Fab picture Maggie and the video is a fab idea
Love that inky photo, Maggie. So beautiful! (chuckled at the video… I welcome laughs these days so could just be me : ) … ~ Lily
I welcome laughs these days too, Lily π
I love that video, Maggie! Please stay warm (it makes me cold just thinking about winter in Norway – but I need that at the moment because it’s stinking hot here in the tropics) π
Stinking hot sounds good to me π
What an inspiring post – it sure strikes a chord. In Africa we rarely think of ‘reverse charity’ – or helping other nations. This is a post that should be widely read… Thank you.
Thank you! (for getting it)
I keep thinking of you as our skies get dark so quickly… have no idea how you manage to cope!
This is a brilliant video. Really sassy, great! π Really forward thinking and empowering. π
How wonderful this is!
Thanks for a great post.
Thank you and I appreciate you stopping by π
what an interesting video, composed by a very creative mind!! a great entry mags, you are so clever!!
That’s an awesome vidio Maggie and I love your opening photo. Would not want to be there however because when it gets below 70 degrees here I want to hybernate! I don’t know how you do it! Wishing the best for you! (smiles)
I don’t know how I do it either… must be love π
